Get an unsaved document back
It is a common situation when people start a Word document and then accidentally close it without saving it. It might look like a real tragedy if you do not know how to recover an unsaved Word document. Luckily, there are many ways to make Word document recovery. One of the great pieces of advice is to choose Manage Document on the File Tab and then Recover All Unsaved Documents. Another option is to use the auto recovery Word document strategy. Instead of inserting a conventional space character between two or more words, press [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Spacebar] to enter a non-breaking space character. This will maintain the text on the same line. The program will maintain the two words on the same line, but the space will appear the same.
When used with hyphenated words, a nonbreaking hyphen functions in the same way as a nonbreaking space. To prevent the program from wrapping at a hyphen, use the shortcut [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[-] to enter a nonbreaking hyphen. It will wrap the entire word to the next line if needed, instead of breaking at the hyphen, when the hyphenated word reaches the right margin.
Shift-F5 is another one of Word’s obscure keyboard shortcuts. You can quickly return to a recent edit you made in your document by simply pressing a keyboard. To go to the section of your document that you most recently updated, press Shift-F5 once. To access your previous edit, press it again. To access your third most recent edit, press it again. The third keystroke returns you to the starting point.
